Why AI Agents Need Runtime Monitoring
AI agents can drift after deployment. Runtime monitoring helps enterprises detect policy violations, unsafe outputs, and anomalous tool use.
Certification Is A Baseline.
An AI agent can pass a pre-production evaluation and still change behavior after deployment. Prompt updates, tool changes, new data sources, model changes, and workflow expansion can all create drift.
Runtime Monitoring Protects The Trust State.
Runtime monitoring watches for unsafe outputs, policy violations, suspicious tool use, data boundary failures, anomalous activity, and drift from certified behavior.
Trust Should Be Revocable.
If an agent no longer operates within its certified scope, the enterprise should be able to flag, suspend, or revoke its Agent Trust Credential. Runtime trust is continuous because production behavior is continuous.
